Recycle Operator

Job Summary:
The Recycle Operator assists in the daily operation of water recycling systems by performing routine monitoring, inspections, and basic maintenance. This entry-level position supports system functionality while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor water treatment processes including filtration units, sedimentation basins, and chemical dosing under supervision.
- Perform daily visual inspections of water recycling facilities and report abnormal conditions to supervisors.
- Record operational data such as water volumes and system parameters accurately.
- Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Follow established safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Support the team in maintaining clean, compliant, and safe work environments.
- Participate in training programs to develop operational knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in water treatment, oilfield operations, or a related industrial environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of water treatment processes is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in field conditions.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
Travel Requirements:
- The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.
Work Schedule:
- This position utilizes a 7 on 7 schedule that could require working overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- WES reserves the right to change employee’s schedule if it is required by operations.
- Candidate must live within 75 miles of Carlsbad, NM
