Essential Qualifications:


  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with no at-fault accidents within the past two years.
  • Must possess a valid P endorsement on their driver’s license.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and comply with applicable random drug and alcohol testing requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must demonstrate a positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Must be flexible and able to accommodate varying schedules and transportation routes.
  • Must be dependable, organized, professional, and able to work independently.
  • Must maintain a courteous, welcoming, and professional demeanor when interacting with riders.
  • Previous shuttle, rideshare, passenger transportation, or similar driving experience is preferred.
  • Must possess strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule:


Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Western Express, Inc. is an asset-based truckload carrier headquartered in Nashville, TN with terminals and facilities throughout the United States. Our company was founded in 1991 by Wayne and Donna Wise. After the passing of Wayne Wise in 2010, the future of the company was placed in the hands of the existing management team. In 2019, Western Express was able to provide the opportunity for the Wise family to redeem most of their shares. They will maintain a minority shareholder position. The current management team now owns the majority interest.

Western Express has grown to become a large tier industry truckload carrier running one of the newest fleets in the industry. Our fleet of over 2800 power units and over 6500 trailers are 100% GPS trackable. We are a service focused company.
