Nursing Assistant - 4 Southwest Medical Unit - Night

Shift: 7pm-7am nights  or day/night rotation 7p-7a and 7a-7p

Hours: 36 hours/week fulltime

            24 hours/week or 12 hours/week part time

Every 3rd weekend and rotating holiday schedule required

 

4 Southwest is a 56-bed mixed acuity, cardiopulmonary telemetry unit.  4SW specializes in the care of patients 18 years and older with a variety of acute medical diagnoses, some requiring mechanical ventilation, CPAP/Bipap, and high flow oxygen,  and patients requiring intermediate level of care. 

General Summary

Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, feeding, toileting, etc.), inventories and replenishes supplies and equipment, and performs special assigned duties such as performing EKGs and Point-of-Care testing.
