Demand Planner
About this role
ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of the role is to enable business growth in Category/Segment thanks to delivery of the most accurate forecast outlook based on integration of S&OP (Sales & Operational planning) with cross functional strategic business plans.
The Business Unit team you will be joining plays a critical role in product availability to our markets across the Eastern Europe Region through transparent cooperation and business intelligence. We collaborate cross-functionally and influence optimal business decisions. We continuously evolve and elevate work process standards and daily operate in a multi-cultural context.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop demand forecast based on demand, historical patterns, availability situation, market intelligence and initiatives plan
Using deep knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and using them to efficiently maintain optimal BY forecasts as the key forecast business tool
Root cause analysis and action plan for forecast deviation to improve forecast accuracy
Closely collaborate with Supply Planning Hub for optimal service results
Ensure target availability of products in scope of responsibility by working with dedicated contacts in Supply Planning Hub, highlighting biggest gaps and driving corrective actions
Monitor VAR and coordinate with respective Market on the prevention and depletion plan.
Root cause analysis and action plan for demand-driven orders/volume cuts
Driving process excellence includes championing the S&OP process, continuous improvement and best practice
Collaborates and communicates with Sales, Commercial and Finance on building correct forecasts
Brings demand perspective based on relevant data analysis (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers).
Closely monitor and plan new product launches and promotional activities together with Commercial and Sales.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
Fluency in English is a must due to daily cooperation in an international environment.
Strong analytical skills to conduct analysis with significant amount of data
Ability to think and understand quickly, adjusting plans and actions to the changing circumstances
Solid priority-setting skills and efficient work organization in a dynamic business environment
Ability to build relationships with other team members and gain commitment toward stated goals
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team towards a common objective
Solution-oriented and improvement-focused mindset
Minimum of two years of progressive job experience in demand or supply planning
Bachelor's degree in supply chain business or a related field
Experience working with demand planning tool (BY)
Mastery of MS Office tools
Non-essential, but highly valued skills:
Experience in Supply Chain
Practical knowledge SAP
Knowledge in Power BI, VBAs and Macros.
