8:00 am to 5:00 pm

SUMMARY

Responsible for answering the company phones and greeting visitors. Serve as the first point of contact for new visitors and callers to the company.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer the phones in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner.
  • Greet vendors, customers, applicants, etc. and direct them to the appropriate company personnel.
  • Keep track of the whereabouts of key personnel and process their calls and messages.
  • Open and distribute company mail and assist Executive Assistant and accounting area with filing.
  • Provide back-up support for Executive Assistant.
  • May have certain accounting / bookkeeping functions.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience

1+ year of experience in a customer service, receptionist or similar role

Background in a high volume manufacturing facility preferred

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a hands-on approach to execution.• Effective communicator

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repeatedly on a regular basis.

Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.

Bend, stand, squat, twist repeatedly.

Work Environment:

Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic).

Ability to work in a confined area.

Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period time.

Typical office environment.
