Location: Southern Salt Lake City, Utah territory

Role Description

The Account Manager will work to build, establish & maintain customers. Will focus on maximizing market penetration and profitability. Objectives are to achieve maximum unit sales volume, market penetration, profit return, full customer spend, and customer loyalty. This position will be based in Southern Utah

Main Responsibilities

  • Grow Welch customer base in the Southern UT / St. George UT territory
  • Increase customer spend to all Welch segments offered
  • Forklift Sales – New and Used
  • Specialty Product Equipment Sales
  • Allied and Racking Sales
  • Aftermarket Service Agreements and Repairs
  • Define customer specific metrics / contract requirements and implement methodology for collecting, analyzing, and communicating.
  • Develop account specific pricing consistent with sales strategy.
  • Elevate areas of concern and pull in appropriate support personnel as needed.
  • Obtain and exceed sales goals
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • BA or BS in business or equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of Financial Merchandising
  • Exceptional business acumen with a demonstrated understanding of key business drivers
  • Must be able to establish and maintain customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Extensive travel required
  • Demonstrate persistence and overcomes
  • Highly motivated to achieve challenging goals.
  • Organizational, planning and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent computer skills and efficient in Microsoft office products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Product knowledge of Raymond and competitor forklifts and general sales and market knowledge of material handling industry
