Scheduler - Repair & Maintenance

Job Overview:
Weatherford is seeking a Scheduler to support Repair & Maintenance (R&M) operations across the Caspian region. This role combining is responsible for ensuring alignment between operational demand, workshop capacity, material availability, and customer delivery requirements.
The role is responsible for creating and maintaining repair schedules, managing work order execution, coordinating material requirements, and ensuring on-time delivery of assets through effective planning and cross-functional collaboration.
The position acts as the primary interface between Operations, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Procurement, and Product Lines to ensure work orders are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with business priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and optimize repair and maintenance schedules across multiple workshops and product lines.
- Ensure work orders are accurately planned, scheduled, released, and executed in accordance with priority, capacity, and material availability.
- Review and manage overdue work orders, adjusting schedules to reflect operational priorities and requirements.
- Release weekly and daily schedules to supervisors and workshop teams.
- Monitor schedule adherence and implement corrective actions to improve delivery performance.
- Track schedule attainment, schedule stability, and on-time delivery metrics.
- Escalate supply risks and material constraints that may impact workshop execution.
- Monitor workload versus available capacity across workshops.
- Maintain capacity models considering headcount, vacation, public holidays, training requirements, and operational constraints.
- Recommend mitigation plans including overtime, outsourcing, redeployment, or schedule adjustments.
- Provide visibility of future workload requirements and resource bottlenecks.
- Identify and manage critical materials impacting revenue, customer delivery, or operational performance.
- Participate in critical order reviews and escalation meetings.
- Ensure accurate communication of material delays and recovery plans.
- Attend daily SDM, providing updates on schedule performance, material constraints, and supply risks.
- Collaborate closely with R&M Supervisors, Warehouse Teams, Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Lines, and Operations Managers.
- Support prioritization decisions based on operational demand and customer commitments.
- Drive alignment between JDE, MyAdvisor, and operational reporting systems.
- Maintain and report key KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy within planning and reporting systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, Materials Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Repair & Maintenance, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting Oil & Gas service operations is advantage
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably JDE (JD Edwards).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
- Familiarity with Lean principals .
- Experience managing regional planning activities across multiple locations.
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency
