Planner - Tubular Running Services (TRS)

Job Overview
The Planner is responsible for prepareing production schedules and establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates.
Responsibilities
- Plan and order all related tools and materials from local vendors for the production line
- Manage new orders as per procedure
- Revise pick date, ship date and ship date as per production meetings
- Raise work order, communicate with production/workshop/buyers/machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed
- Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners on these daily
- Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items as well
- Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing manager
Skills
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams
- Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Good communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Qualifications
- 1-3 years planning and ordering tools and materials in workshop/manufacturing environment (in Oil & Gas industry is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline
