Position Summary: 

Mental Health Therapist provide comprehensive assessment, group facilitation, individual therapy, crisis support and care coordination for individuals engaged in Co-Occurring Intensive Outpatient Program designed to support individuals experiencing symptoms of mental health and substance use disorders.  Responsible for all clinical documentation of therapeutic interactions.

Team Specific Information: Intensive Outpatient Program is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of therapists, peer support specialists, interns, and administrative staff. This program operates in person.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Mental Health Therapist II (Master's Level) - $31.25/hour - $65,000/year
  • LPC/LMFT/LCSW: $34.78/hour - $72,342.40/year
  • LAC Differential - $1.00
  • Language Differential - $1-$2.50/hour for bilingual proficiency in Spanish or ASL

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications. 

Job Duties & Functions: 

  • Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy.
  • Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated.
  • Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve.
  • Facilitate the coordination of services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other human services field required.
  • Licensed or within 6 months of licensure (preferred)
  • LAC (preferred)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in mental health, substance use or human services (preferred).

Shift/Hours: This is a Monday-Friday opportunity observing standard business hours.

Physical Requirements: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 40 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.
