Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively develop relationships with carrier and client contacts, taking an active role in meetings.
- Prepare and send requests for proposals to applicable insurance carriers and compile the results. Draft or use equivalent experience to develop the initial renewal presentation.
- Lead the review of proposals and carrier source documents for accuracy, collaborating with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive. Begin direct communication with clients and carriers, with approval.
- Build and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures. Maintain client policy records in the agency management system.
- Address billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel, with assistance from the Accounting Department when necessary.
- Complete service work for clients, ensuring their needs are met with outstanding care.

- Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident in making sound, independent decisions.
- Ability to interact successfully with a variety of people and function effectively both in a team environment and autonomously.
- Maintain a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor in all situations.
- Customer-focused, able to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Skilled in reading, analyzing, and balancing financial reports.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sharp attention to detail, decision-making skills, and problem resolution.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent) required; BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
- More than 3 years of client service and/or industry and product line experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration
- P&C Insurance License required. This can be acquired within 30 days of hire date.
Physical Demand The physical expectations described here represent the conditions an employee must meet to adequately perform the core responsibilities of this role. The employee is consistently asked to sit; use hands to manipulate or sense and communicate verbally or through hearing. The employee frequently must extend hands and arms. The employee occasionally needs to stand and walk. Required vision skills for this job include focusing on close objects as well as seeing at a distance.
Hybrid Position This role may be a hybrid position. During the initial 90 days of employment, the employee will be assigned to a dedicated role in either the Indianapolis or Brem office. After completing 90 days and training, the employee will have the option to work from home two days a week.

The base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 – $60,000.00. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
