We're looking for a part-time Human Resources Talent Manager to lead talent and organizational development initiatives for our Corporate and Global teams. In this role, you'll partner with senior leaders to design effective organizations, build future-ready talent strategies, strengthen performance and engagement, and help shape the workforce needed for tomorrow. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule (20 hours per week) working between our San Diego office and home.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and should not require sponsorship now or in the future to legally work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to assess organizational effectiveness and design teams, roles, and structures that support business strategy and growth.
- Lead talent and organizational development initiatives, including succession planning, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Manage and support performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, calibration, and employee development planning.
- Advise leaders on employee relations matters, performance concerns, workplace accommodations, and people-related decision making.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify capability gaps and deliver solutions that support organizational needs.
- Analyze workforce, engagement, and talent data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend action plans.
- Facilitate organizational change and support leaders through team transitions and transformation initiatives.
- Lead engagement survey action planning and help cultivate a positive, high-performing employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (I/O Psychology) or Organizational Development or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in organizational development, talent management, human resources, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and performance management programs.
- Demonstrated success partnering with leaders to solve complex people and organizational challenges.
- Strong employee relations experience, including coaching leaders through sensitive workplace matters.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution in a fast-paced business environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, consulting, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using data and insights to inform recommendations and drive decision making.
- Proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related HR technology tools.
