We are hiring a: Team Lead, Credit & Collections

Location: Lędziny, Poland

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Working model: 4 days in the office, 1 day of home office per week

About the role

As Team Lead, Credit & Collections, you will coordinate the day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations for the European Shared Service Center while remaining hands-on in transactional work for one or two assigned legal entities. Your work will directly support reliable delivery, timely collections, accurate reconciliations, and responsive service to internal stakeholders. You will also help coordinate operational improvement initiatives and support AR system enhancements and digitalization projects across Europe.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable balancing operational delivery with team coordination. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and working with multiple stakeholders across Europe, this role is a strong fit.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate daily AR activities and workload across European entities.
  • Perform hands-on AR work for one or two assigned legal entities, including invoicing support, cash application, account reconciliation, and collection follow-up.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for day-to-day priorities, escalations, and stakeholder questions.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, monitor aging and overdue balances, and escalate significant issues promptly.
  • Coordinate operational AR improvement initiatives, testing, rollouts, and user training for system enhancements, including Oracle Advanced Collections.
  • Support onboarding, knowledge transfer, and training for AR team members.
  • Track actions, risks, dependencies, and status updates for assigned projects and operational improvements.

What you'll need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Practical Accounts Receivable experience, ideally in a shared service or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of AR processes, collections, cash application, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Strong English communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across multiple European jurisdictions.
  • Hands-on, dependable, and approachable working style with a service-oriented and structured mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Prior coordination or informal leadership experience is an advantage
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion AR is preferred.
  • Exposure to AR automation, Oracle Advanced Collections, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
