Job Overview
As an Inside Sales Specialist I, you will be responsible for supporting revenue growth through outbound sales activity and inbound customer inquiries. This position assists with qualifying opportunities, providing basic pricing and service information, and supporting the sales process through accurate documentation and coordination with internal teams.
The Inside Sales Specialist I works under close-to-moderate supervision, follows established sales processes, and focuses on developing product knowledge, sales skills, and proficiency with CRM tools.

Essential Job Functions
Support revenue generation through outbound sales calls and inbound customer inquiries.
Conduct outbound follow-up calls using CRM lists, dashboards, or assigned call queues.
Receive and handle inbound inquiries from non-broker and non-franchise sources as directed.
Qualify leads and gather basic customer information to identify potential sales opportunities.
Provide introductory service information and pricing guidance within established parameters.
Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, and service agreement documentation.
Submit completed documentation to the appropriate internal teams for review or next steps.
Maintain accurate call notes, activity tracking, and opportunity updates in CRM systems.
Follow defined sales processes, scripts, and outreach guidelines.
Coordinate with Inside Sales Specialist II, Customer Experience Specialists, and other internal teams as needed.
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Support customer onboarding by ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
Learn company services, pricing structures, and sales tools.
Meet individual activity-based performance expectations (calls, follow-ups, documentation accuracy).
Perform other related duties and sales support tasks as assigned.
What You Need
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
0-2 years of inside sales, customer service, call center, or related experience
Interest in developing a career in sales or account management
Ability to make outbound calls and handle inbound customer inquiries professionally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic proficiency with CRM systems (Hubspot or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or willingness to learn
Attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to follow defined processes and accept coaching and feedback
Customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to learn
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Sage 100 and MAS 90 experience a plus.
Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and general accounting procedures.
Able to handle large amounts of paperwork.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and can effectively prioritize multiple tasks
