Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related hospitality role.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems or housekeeping software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and sanitation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms according to hotel standards.
  • Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and minibar items to ensure guest comfort.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
  • Respond courteously to guest requests and inquiries related to housekeeping services.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily room cleaning targets and special requests.
