The Bellperson/Shuttle Driver plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, and safe transportation and luggage assistance services. This position is responsible for welcoming guests upon arrival, assisting with their luggage, and ensuring timely shuttle service to and from designated locations. The role requires a strong focus on customer service, safety, and operational efficiency to maintain smooth transportation logistics. The Bellperson/Shuttle Driver acts as a key representative of the establishment, often being the first and last point of contact for guests, thereby influencing overall guest satisfaction. This position demands reliability, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor throughout the workday.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of local geography and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with GPS and route planning technology.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, assisting with loading and unloading luggage.
  • Operate shuttle vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies to transport guests between the hotel and designated locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of shuttle vehicles, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Coordinate shuttle schedules to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off, communicating effectively with guests and team members.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options to guests as needed.
