Role summary:The Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing, is responsible for operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring they meet established standards. This role involves evaluating cleaning requirements, performing safety and preventative maintenance on machinery, and managing equipment inventory. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, effective communication with facility users, and collaboration with team members to support operational needs. Additionally, the technician operates corporate vehicles safely and performs related facility maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

The Facility Services Power Washing team operates and maintains pressure washing equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety across various surfaces. Team members follow established safety protocols while performing maintenance on machinery and vehicles. They collaborate effectively with managers and stakeholders to address service requests and support facility operations. The team adapts to changing priorities and contributes to continuous improvements in equipment use and facility upkeep. Committed to high standards of integrity and quality, the team plays a vital role in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning environments for Walmart facilities.
What you'll do:
- Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing machinery and corporate vehicles.
- Evaluate cleaning areas to determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and methods for effective results.
- Respond to work orders, document tasks, and communicate updates with facility users and management.
- Maintain equipment inventory, install wear parts, and ensure proper storage of tools and vehicles.
- Support seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to uphold safe facility conditions.
- Collaborate with teams to meet operational priorities and implement facility improvements.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
- Ability to evaluate surfaces and determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and operational methods to meet facility standards.
- Skilled in performing preventative maintenance and safety checks on power washing and heavy equipment.
- Competence in operating corporate vehicles, including conducting inspections and adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with facility users, managers, and team members.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies with integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support facility maintenance needs efficiently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.
Must be 21 years of age or older.Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and maintain a minimum of a 90-day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card.
No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
As required by Section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
Ability to work alternative shifts, including overnight or weekends.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
