About the Job

Our drivers/technicians are responsible for providing excellent customer service related to the collection and cleaning of grease separator equipment. We offer afternoon and evening shift, with a scheduled 40-hour work week (overtime after 40 hours). All shifts start and end at your home base, so you get to go home at the end of every day! Walker Environmental has a workplace culture focused on health and safety and takes care of its employees. You will be well trained and equipped to work safely. Starting rate: $32.87, with two annual increases over the first four years.

 

Here's What You Need

  • Valid Alberta Class 3 driver’s license (DZ) or higher
  • Criminal background check and driver’s abstract with a satisfactory driving record
  • Certified driver safety training course certificate
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of Alberta Transportation regulations and applicable commercial vehicle safety requirements
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck is an asset
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to perform required tasks and lift 23 kg (50 lb)
