We’re seeking an execution-driven Robotics Assembly Technician to support the hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of our humanoid robot’s electrical and mechanical systems. In this role, you will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to assemble, wire, inspect, rework, and document prototype and production hardware across subsystems including actuators, sensors, power systems, cable routing, and structural assemblies. This role is ideal for a technician with 5+ years of experience building complex electromechanical systems, with strong assembly skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to development from prototype through production.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build, assemble, wire, inspect, and rework robotic and electromechanical subsystems according to drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Support system integration, bring-up, basic functional testing, and troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Strong hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, cable/harness fabrication, and rework.
  • Comfortable using common lab and shop tools, precision measurement equipment, and torque-controlled tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, CAD drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience assembling robotic systems, preferably humanoid and/or manipulation robots.
  • Experience with prototype builds, low-volume production, and transition to manufacturing.
