About the Role
We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our Kitchener team.
This is primarily a warehouse position with an important standby/backup delivery driver responsibility. You will support warehouse operations, inventory, order fulfillment, customer deliveries and basic equipment maintenance.
This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is mechanically inclined and likes having a varied workday.
What You'll Do
Warehouse
- Receive, inspect and put away inventory
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping/receiving records
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe
- Assist with inventory replenishment and seasonal projects
Standby Delivery Driver
- Act as a backup delivery driver when the regular driver is unavailable
- Complete customer deliveries during vacations, illness or other absences
- Handle emergency deliveries when required
- Deliver products, drums, tools and equipment to customer locations
- Support additional delivery requirements during periods of increased demand
Important: This is primarily a warehouse role. Delivery driving is a standby/backup responsibility, not the primary job function.
Equipment Support
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on company and customer equipment
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Assist with refurbishing equipment
- Prepare equipment for customer delivery or demonstrations
- Maintain basic repair and equipment records
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory driver's abstract
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to approximately 50 lbs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, dependable and willing to take ownership
- Comfortable using computers, email, tablets and smartphones
- Ability to work in a physically active warehouse environment
Assets:
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving or distribution experience
- Mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude
- Delivery driving experience
- Forklift certification
- Inventory control experience
- Microsoft Office experience
Forklift training can be provided if required.

Working Conditions
The majority of your time will be spent in the warehouse, with occasional travel to customer locations for deliveries and operational support.
The position involves regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting and moving products and equipment. Some work may take place outdoors in varying weather conditions.
