About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Delivery Driver / Customer Sales Representative to service a set route of existing customers in the Richmond Hill area.
This is not a traditional delivery-only position. You will build relationships with customers, manage product inventory at their locations, complete deliveries and restocking, answer questions, identify customer needs and support account growth.
This is an entry-level sales opportunity with potential to progress into future Account Manager opportunities within the organization.
What You'll Do
Customer Route & Delivery
- Service a set route of existing customers on a regular schedule
- Safely load and operate the company delivery vehicle
- Deliver products, barrels, tools and equipment to customers
- Maintain accurate product inventory at customer locations
- Count product on hand and restock shelves to expected levels
- Review orders with customer contacts to ensure deliveries are complete and accurate
- Complete emergency deliveries when required
- Obtain approval before returning customer product
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized and properly maintained
- Report vehicle issues and upcoming maintenance requirements
Customer Service
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers
- Greet customers and provide responsive, courteous service
- Answer questions and help resolve customer issues
- Become a reliable point of contact for customers on your route
- Communicate inventory or service concerns to the Warehouse Manager or Account Manager
- Follow up promptly through phone, email and text
Sales Support
- Identify customer needs, stocking issues and potential business opportunities
- Communicate opportunities and potential risks to the Account Manager
- Support account growth and customer retention
- Assist with the execution of sales strategies for assigned accounts
- Learn and apply the organization's sales strategies and processes
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Valid driver's license
- Previous Business to Business delivery driving experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, organized and committed to completing daily responsibilities
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, smartphones, email and text messaging
Assets:
- Previous delivery or route experience
- Customer service or sales experience
- Inventory or stocking experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word

Physical & Working Conditions
The majority of the workday will be spent between the warehouse, company delivery vehicle and customer locations.
The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
You must be able to:
- Sit for extended periods while operating the delivery vehicle
- Stand, walk, bend and twist regularly
- Lift and move products weighing up to approximately 50 lbs
- Maneuver large-volume drums using appropriate mechanical assistance
- Perform basic computer and administrative tasks
