Job Summary:

The Territory Business Manager at Corteva Agriscience Seeds Private Limited is responsible for driving sales and market share growth of Corteva seed products within an assigned geographical territory. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with distributors and key customers, and providing technical support to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:


Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve aggressive sales targets and market share growth for Corteva seed products within the assigned territory.
Manage and cultivate strong relationships with existing distributors, retailers, and key agricultural customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify and onboard new distribution channels and strategic customers to expand market reach and penetration.
Conduct regular field visits to understand customer needs, provide technical product information, and offer agronomic advice.
Organize and conduct product demonstrations, field days, and farmer meetings to showcase the value and benefits of Corteva seed solutions.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to regional management.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Collaborate effectively with marketing, technical services, and other internal teams to leverage resources and achieve common goals.
Manage assigned budget and resources effectively to maximize return on investment.

Job Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the agricultural industry, preferably with seeds or crop protection products.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop cycles, and farmer needs within the assigned territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a demanding schedule.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
* Fluency in English and the local language(s) prevalent in the territory is required.


Corteva announced to separate our current advanced seed and genetics business to establish a standalone company, operating as Vylor, Inc.
