Machine Operator - Aluminium Extrusions

Looking for steady work, early finishes and a team that values hard work?
We're looking for an Extrusion Operator to join our Hamilton team on a permanent, full-time basis. You'll operate aluminium extrusion machinery, monitor product quality, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Monday-Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and monitoring extrusion machinery
- Carrying out quality checks and basic machine adjustments
- Loading raw materials and monitoring production runs
- Completing routine machine cleaning and maintenance
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Experience operating manufacturing, production, extrusion or similar machinery
- Ability to read and follow production specifications and work instructions
- Experience carrying out machine set-up, adjustments and basic troubleshooting
- Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Forklift licence and experience advantageous
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
- Reliable with good attendance and a strong work ethic
- A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
