Experienced Warehouse Storeperson - Stainless Afternoon Shift

About this role

We need a reliable, experienced storeperson to join our Stainless Steel team. Someone who's done this before, knows what to do without being told, and takes pride in a tidy, safe bay. Hours: Mon – Thu 2pm–11.30pm, Fri 2pm–6pm (afternoon shift)

What you'll be doing

  • Look after stainless steel stock — receiving, checking, and putting it away
  • Pick, pack, and get orders ready to go out, right first time
  • Keep stock counts accurate with regular stocktakes
  • Drive forklifts and overhead cranes, safely and confidently
  • Keep your work area clean, tidy, and safe
  • Sort out day-to-day problems yourself, without waiting to be told

This is a hands-on, physical job — you'll be on your feet, moving stock and handling heavy or awkward stainless steel product all shift.

Requirements

Skills & experience:

  • Warehouse, stores, or stock handling experience
  • Stainless steel or metals industry experience an advantage
  • Current forklift licence
  • Overhead crane experience an advantage
  • Physically fit and confident with manual handling
  • Current NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
  • Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen
