We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) as Teamlead IT -Datacenter & Infrastructure (m/f/d).

Your mission

  • You take overall responsibility for steering, operating and continuously developing the global IT infrastructure, including data centers and networks (LAN, WAN, connectivity).
  • You develop and implement the IT infrastructure, datacenter and network strategy, including target architectures and long-term roadmaps.
  • You plan, manage and execute IT infrastructure and data center projects from concept phase through to operational handover.
  • You ensure a highly available, secure and high‑performance IT infrastructure in alignment with Service Management and external service providers.
  • You oversee backup, disaster recovery and business continuity concepts and ensure their effective implementation.
  • You drive knowledge transfer, change management and user adoption for new systems, services and processes.
  • You participate in audits and risk assessments and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in close collaboration with IT Security.

Your profile

  • You hold a degree in business informatics or a comparable qualification and bring experience in IT infrastructure management as well as data center and network operations.
  • You have proven experience in leading teams and managing external service providers, complemented by a strong understanding of IT service, project and management processes.
  • You maintain a strong interest in new and emerging technologies, including networking, firewalls and service management tools.
  • You work in a highly analytical, structured and solution‑oriented manner.
  • You demonstrate clear decision-making ability, assertiveness and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • You are exceptionally well organized, resilient, and able to perform effectively in complex, dynamic environments.
  • You communicate confidently with excellent presentation skills and are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
