Who are we?

Service Operations & Technology (SO&T) is part of  Volvo Trucks Technology & Industrial Division (TTI). 

We have 5300 employees on more than 60 locations world-wide. Our job is to design, manage and optimize the Service Market supply chain for all Volvo Group brands.

This includes making sure that spare parts are distributed from supplier through our warehouse to the dealers, ensuring availability of parts everywhere in the world.

We make sure all logistics services are delivered with world class operational excellence.

What you will do

As a Service Center Coordinator within Service Operations & Technology (SO&T) you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.  

  • Coordinate and manage the process of urgent orders 
  • Discuss, coordinate and manage special orders and requirements 
  • Cooperate with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Give advice on logistical and commercial solutions or alternatives 
  • Continuously improve processes and ways of working which are beneficial for both our department and customers
  • Translate data into actions, advise and drive improvements within the supply chain 

Who are you?

  • Customer oriented and service minded   
  • Good communication and networking skills  
  • Ability to structure and prioritize working tasks in an efficient manner  
  • Interested in digitalization and new technologies and tools to support process improvements  (meriting experience in working with RPAs, AI ect)
  • Data driven with interest in logistics and analysis (Excel, Office 365, Power BI proficiency)
  • Be ready to challenge the as-is way of working  
  • Enjoy achieving results by working in a cross functional team and taking responsibility  
  • Working with problem solving in a structured way 
  • Be the voice of the customer in our big organization  
  • You communicate fluently in English, Dutch and German (French is an asset)
  • University degree in logistics/supply chain or equivalent experience at the same knowledge level
