About the Role
Voltage is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, compliance, and customer quality initiatives within our high-volume wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing facility. In this role, you will own site-wide quality performance while building and developing a high-performing team. You’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement as the facility scales.
What You’ll Do
Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS).
Establish and track quality objectives aligned with business goals.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, customer requirements, and internal standards.
Oversee quality documentation, traceability systems, and record management.
Manage core quality methodologies including PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA.
Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection operations.
Ensure process control across critical manufacturing processes including crimping, welding, molding, and harness assembly.
Support new product introduction (NPI), validation, and production readiness.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.
Lead customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions.
Manage audits, including internal, customer, and third-party assessments.
Develop, lead, and mentor Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Inspectors.
Drive root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, yield improvement, and cost of quality.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to improve quality performance and scalability.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
Proven experience building, leading, and developing quality teams.
Experience in wire & cable, harness assembly, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Expertise in PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience supporting OEM or automotive customers preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
