Schedule: Flexible Schedule Required (Weekends & Holidays as Needed)

What You'll Do

As a Resident Assistant, you will provide non-clinical support that enhances our residents' quality of life by:

  • Assisting residents with personal care setup, grooming, and daily routines
  • Escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the facility
  • Providing companionship through conversation, reading, games, and social engagement
  • Supporting activity participation and encouraging resident independence
  • Responding to call lights by notifying nursing staff when clinical assistance is needed
  • Helping maintain clean, organized, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas
  • Assisting with meal service, snack delivery, dining room setup, and cleanup
  • Performing housekeeping duties and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the facility
  • Monitoring residents and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team
  • Following infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights policies at all times

Please note: This position does not provide hands-on clinical care or resident transfers. Clinical needs are referred to licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is at least 18 years old
  • Has excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Enjoys working with seniors and long-term care residents
  • Can work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when needed
  • Can perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Maintains a positive attitude and works well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or healthcare
  • Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Certification
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment
