Assistant Director of Nursing - Registered Nurse

Chateau Napoleon Caring is seeking a motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing!

Pay: Depending on Experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision for all residents as the day supervisor.

  • Coordinate in-service education and training for all departments and maintain accurate in-service records.

  • Monitor and track accidents and unusual occurrences and assist with trending as assigned.

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with pressure sore and infection control monitoring.

  • Round on all facility residents at least twice daily.

  • Assist with creating nursing and CNA staff schedules as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day nursing operations.

  • Provide floor coverage when RN coverage is needed.

  • Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and assist with triaging phone calls.

  • Participate in the weekend on-call rotation.

  • Support the Director of Nursing in maintaining high standards of resident care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in the applicable state.

  • BSN preferred.

  • Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing practices, as well as applicable long-term care laws, regulations, and guidelines.

  • Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, skilled nursing facility, or other healthcare setting is required.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and clinical skills.

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents and supporting the nursing team.
