About this role

Vivo Energy Madagascar is hiring a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Stock Controller to join its supply team. The stock controller is responsible for managing fuel and lubricant inventory, data reconciliation, and compliance standards across all plants to ensure accurate stock valuation.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Stock reconciliation and integrity

  • Execute Daily Reconciliation across all fuel plants and depots.
  • Consolidate daily stock movement Data from third party partners.
  • Analyze Stock Variances and proceed to approved corrections.
  • Settle Gains & Losses and initiate formal financial settlement processes.
  • Oversee Borrow & Loan.

2. Inventory management and System operations

  • Ensure the process product movements in the system.
  • Oversee Import Logistics.
  • Control Additives & Lubricants across all warehouses.
  • Verify Throughput Fees.

3. Reporting and performance analysis

  • Issue Fuel Movement Reports for own depots and third parties.
  • Run the system Integrity Checks.
  • Compile Safety Reports ("Goal Zero" safety and compliance report).
  • Manage Financial Provisions to maintain accuracy.
  • Master’s degree in management, Engineering or related field
  • Proven ability to manage priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good analytical skills required
  • Experience in Depot operations/Supply & Distribution/Finance
  • Ability to work independently, resolve complex issues and work proactively
  • Team worker and good interpersonal skills
  • ERP Proficiency (SAP), data & financial analytics (Advanced Excel or Power BI skills)
  • French & English professional working proficiency
