Failure Analysis Shift Technician

About this role

Failure Analysis shift technician to join the FA team working back-end nights (12hrs: 7pm-7am; Wed, Thu, Fri & every other Saturday).

This position is a key member of the Failure Analysis team, responsible for performing physical and structural analysis of wafers/samples using Optical microscope, SEM, FIB, Plasma etcher and EDX. Full training will be provided on dayshift (Mon-Fri).

Key duties:

Performing SEM cross sections and imaging
Performing cross sections using FIB
Analysing wafers/samples with EDX
Performing wafer de-processing using wet chemicals and/or plasma etcher
Performing optical inspections
Maintain Failure Analysis and chemical laboratory

Required

Ability to work effectively in teams and on own initiative
Methodical, well-organised with ability to multitask
Highly motivated, results and customer service oriented
Strong written and communication skills
Experienced in Microsoft office

Advantageous

Able to work in busy and fast changing environment
BTEC qualification/ HNC
Detail oriented
