About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Midwest Field Service Manager is responsible for leading and supporting field service operations across the Central-West region. This role ensures exceptional customer support, high-quality service delivery, and strong team performance while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

You will lead a team of Field Service Engineers, helping them succeed through coaching, performance management, and resource planning. The successful candidate will be a customer-focused leader who balances operational priorities, drives KPI performance, and fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Look Like:

  • Lead and supervise day-to-day field service operations across the assigned region
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Field Service Engineers to maximize performance and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor service execution, workload balancing, scheduling, and regional coverage
  • Track key service metrics including productivity, utilization, response times, and service quality
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Resolve customer escalations and operational challenges in a timely and effective manner
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Support workforce planning and resource allocation to meet customer commitments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Build and maintain a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, customer success, and operational excellence

The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:

  • Experience in field service, technical support, or service operations environments
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience within a technical organization
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience analyzing operational data and using insights to improve performance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed

It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed field service teams
  • Knowledge of service performance metrics, workforce planning, and resource management
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs
