Reporting to the Service Director Northern Europe, the Service Team Leader – Nordics is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a team of 7 Field Service Engineers across Sweden and Norway, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and delivery of service revenue targets, and will be based on-site in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role involves travel up to one week per month within Sweden and Norway (nights away from home).
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Organizing and prioritizing your team's daily and weekly work schedules, making sure engineers have the parts, information, and support they need to complete their jobs.
Acting as the first point of contact for customer queries and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved quickly, and customers are booked in for visits when needed.
Reviewing and approving service quotes, ensuring commercial proposals are technically viable before they go to customers.
Supporting service sales by identifying opportunities for contract renewals, growth, and training on customer sites.
Traveling roughly one week per month to visit customers and the Norway office, staying close to both the team and the business.
Tracking service KPIs (On-Time Delivery, First Time Fix Rate, First Time Install Rate) and country-level revenue targets, and coaching your team to hit them.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Significant field service or technical service experience.
Strong technical background spanning mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Experience with service operations: planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Experience managing service KPIs (e.g., On-Time Delivery, First Time Fix Rate, First Time Install Rate).
Working proficiency in English
