IT Administrator (Night Shift)
About this role
The IT Administrator will provide technical support, system administration, and operational
assistance for the company’s US users and IT environment. This role will focus on Microsoft
365 administration, endpoint management, security monitoring, user lifecycle
management, backup and archiving support, and general IT operations.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune,
Microsoft Defender, Synology NAS, backup systems, onboarding and offoarding
processes, and end-user support. Experience supporting Autodesk products is an
advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including user accounts, licenses, groups, mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Support email, calendar, Teams, and collaboration-related concerns.
- Assist in managing Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings.
- Monitor and resolve Microsoft 365 service-related incidents.
Endpoint and Device Management:
- Manage company devices through Microsoft Intune.
- Assist with device enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application deployment.
- Support endpoint troubleshooting for Windows devices.
- Coordinate device provisioning, replacement, and decommissioning.
Security and Microsoft Defender :
- Monitor Microsoft Defender alerts and assist in investigation and remediation.
- Support endpoint protection, malware response, and security policy enforcement.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company IT security policies.
- Escalate security incidents as necessary.
User Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts across required systems.
- Assign licenses, groups, permissions, and application access based on role requirements.
- Coordinate laptop, software, and account readiness for new hires.
- Ensure proper access removal, device return, and data handling during offboarding.
Synology NAS, Backup, and Archiving:
- Support Synology NAS access, shared folders, permissions, and user/group access.
- Assist in monitoring backup jobs and validating backup completion.
- Support archiving activities for project files and business data.
- Help maintain proper file storage, retention, and restoration procedures.
IT Support and Operations:
- Provide timely technical support to US-based users during graveyard shift hours.
- Respond to support tickets, emails, and escalations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, access, and application issues.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues in the IT ticketing system.
- Coordinate with the global IT team for escalated infrastructure and security concerns.
Application Support:
- Provide basic support for business applications used by the company.
- Assist users with access issues, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Nice to have: experience supporting Autodesk products such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or related AEC tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 services.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or Microsoft security tools.
- Experience with user onboarding, offboarding, and access management.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop support and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing file access, permissions, and shared folders.
- Familiarity with Synology NAS or similar network storage systems.
- Basic understanding of backup, restoration, and archiving processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during graveyard shift hours.
- Willingness to support US operations from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
