What you'll do
Fixed Asset Accounting specializes in producing timely, accurate, and reliable financial information for fixed assets. Manages and controls the fixed asset register and capital expenditure controls. As a member of the corporate fixed assets accounting team, you will manage, track, and record the Company’s assets, focusing on asset capitalization, monthly depreciation, and reconciliations.
The day-to-day
- Track and manage existing fixed assets, record depreciation and fixed asset retirements
- Post fixed asset journal entries, complete account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Manage intercompany fixed asset transactions
- Responsible for working with the Fixed Asset team to support a variety of ad hoc projects and recurring daily tasks.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools and automated assistants where applicable to improve the speed and accuracy of financial data categorization and subledger reporting.
- Challenge existing practices and help determine scalable, tech-forward solutions for new and evolving processes.
What you'll need
- Experience: 1-3+ years of work experience in an Accounting role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of General Accounting Principles
- Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel; high accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.
- Automation Mindset: Hands-on experience or a strong foundational knowledge of using automated accounting workflows, macros, or AI productivity tools to optimize day-to-day processing.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a self-motivated approach, and the ability to balance, prioritize, and build strong relationships within and outside the accounting team.
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence status required.
What will help you on the job
- ERP (Oracle) experience is a plus
- CPA license
- Previous corporate experience is a plus
- Familiarity with generative AI tools or prompt engineering to enhance routine spreadsheet
Salary range
$63,000.00 - $99,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $78,500.00- $117,500.00/ annually
