At Eni, we are looking for a Reporting & Planning Analyst within Eni Iraq bv in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for managing and continuously improving the Contracts & Procurement Compliance, Reporting and Planning process, ensuring procurement activities are effectively planned, monitored and reported in line with contractual obligations, joint venture agreements, company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main responsibilities:
- Reference is made to the Annex G of the MSG Anti-Corruption on “Relations with Relevant Subjects”.
- The Job Holder is authorized and has the power to interact with the Public Authorities and Relevant Private Entities (as defined in Annex G), in accordance with the process laid down in the Annex, strictly for the purposes of discharging his/her official responsibilities detailed in this job description.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of procurement data, systems, and reports; perform quality checks and gap analysis.
- Develop and maintain Procurement Plans aligned with projects; monitor progress and suggest corrective actions.
- Produce and optimize internal/external reports and dashboards; support management with data-driven insights.
- Liaise with business units for planning, compliance, and documentation; facilitate meetings and training sessions.
- Support audits and regulatory inquiries; maintain proper records and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Implement and update C&P procedures, compliance policies, and templates; advise on regulatory changes and deliver targeted training.
- Promote continuous improvement in compliance, reporting, and planning processes; propose new practices and systems.
- Ensure accurate data entry in systems (SAP, File Maker, Pie) and maintain workload updates.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses to support sourcing strategies and process optimization.
- Perform additional tasks and ad-hoc analysis assigned by management.
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Law
- Experience in oil & gas projects in Compliance, Reporting, Planning and Auditing areas
- Proven track record in complex international O&G projects (onshore and offshore).
- knowledge of international contractual formats and corporate/project governance.
- High computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP and e-Procurement systems (e.g., Ariba, Jaggaer, Smart GEP etc.)
- Fluency in written and spoken English, especially contract terminology.
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with third parties.
- High integrity, strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of oilfield contracts, procurement methods, terminology, and equipment.
- Proficient in auditing, monitoring, and organizational processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective collaborator with proven ability to work across diverse cultures and disciplines.

The following skills and experience are desirable:
- CIPS (Level 5+) or equivalent (APS, CPP/CPPM)
- MBA or similar advanced education
- Understanding of commodity markets, price trends, and material specifications.
- Applied expertise in local content development and regulatory compliance.
- Previous Middle East experience.
- Arabic fluency is considered an advantage.
