Certified Auditor EN9100/AS9100

The EN9100/AS9100 Supplier Auditor is responsible for evaluating and auditing supplier quality management systems to ensure compliance with EN9100/AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role focuses on supplier performance, process effectiveness, and risk mitigation within the aerospace supply chain.
Certified Auditor Requirement
- Lead Auditor certification (e.g., EN9100/AS9100 Lead Auditor or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Familiarity with NADCAP requirements and audits.
- 3–5+ years of experience in aerospace quality, supplier quality, or auditing.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems
- Experience with PPAP, SPC, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supplier portals.
- Experience with risk-based auditing and process-based auditing techniques.
Certified Auditor Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site and remote audits of suppliers to verify compliance with EN9100/AS9100 requirements.
- Certified Auditor will evaluate supplier quality systems, manufacturing processes, and inspection methods.
- Assess compliance with customer-specific requirements (e.g., flow-down requirements).
- Identify non-conformances, risks, and gaps; document findings and issue audit reports.
- Lead or support corrective action requests (CARs) and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Perform supplier qualification, surveillance, and re-evaluation audits.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery, and responsiveness).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (FAA, NADCAP where applicable).
- Collaborate with internal quality, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in aerospace quality, supplier quality, or auditing.
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and inspection processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and special processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Lead Auditor certification (e.g., AS9100 Lead Auditor or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
- Familiarity with NADCAP requirements and audits.
- Experience with PPAP, SPC, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and supplier portals.
