About This Role

The Preclinical Quality Assurance Technician 2 will primarily support study-level Quality Control activities at Veranex Preclinical Services in Atlanta. The position will be aligned with the Quality Assurance department and remain independent from study operations while working directly with study teams to support timely, accurate, and complete study documentation.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform contemporaneous and detailed QC reviews of GLP and non-GLP study records, raw data forms, worksheets, logs and reports for completeness, accuracy, consistency, legibility, and compliance with SOP's and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Verify that study records contain all required signatures, dates, corrections, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Study Directors and operational personnel to resolve documentation deficiencies prior to QA inspections or record archival.
  • Support review of data tables, calculations, report components, study closure, and archival.
  • Conduct data reconciliation activities in collaboration with study personnel.
  • Maintain QC logs, issue trackers, and study-specific quality records.
  • Support audit and inspection readiness activities.
  • Assist with document control, quality documentation, training, and other QA/QC activities.
  • Assists with the design and updating of quality documentation. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience. 
  • Good knowledge of overall medical device industry. 
  • Good understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP) and regulatory policies and governance practices. 
  • Associate degree in a relevant field required.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, consistency, and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and across functional teams.

  • This is an onsite position in Atlanta, GA
