Deputy Manager - Projects & Construction

About this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of execution of all E-BoP (PSS, EHV TL, 33KV TL) and Solar activities as per FQP

  • To ensure respective installation activities are on schedule

  • Monitoring and tracking of assigned works to ensure respective I activities are as per agreed quality.

  • Interact with stores for issue for desired materials

  • Resources mobilization planning, addressing the issue recommendation as per actual project condition

  • Escalation the bottleneck to Construction Manager/ Site Manager

  • Daily progress reporting

  • Ensuring zero LTI for respective area

  • Clearance of all non-compliances (NC’s) raise by quality team within set time

  • Work allotment planning, material management for mechanical activities

  • Acquisition learnings during execution and intimate engineering for process improvement

  • Innovative approach to problem solving, recording, and sharing with Project Management team for future implementation.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree of engineering in Electrical or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • 8-12 years of experience in Construction and Project Management

  • Project Planning and Controlling

  • Quality assurance process in electrical engineering

  • Solar construction and monitoring

  • Experience in Solar project development

  • Should showcase good leadership, organizational, analytical and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in English,

  • Understanding of Microsoft Projects software

  • Willingness to work at remote project locations
