Job Summary:

Responsible for strategic communications leadership in the Philippines, with a focus on advancing market leadership in renewable energy. Leads integrated PR campaigns, brand positioning, and external relations with media and stakeholders. Manages internal communications to align messaging with company values and foster collaboration. Proven expertise in crisis and issues management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications and Market Leadership

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive Communications strategies aligned with business milestones and regulatory goals, directly supporting permit acquisition and project progress.

  • Advise business and function partners on market-specific communications approaches to build and sustain Vena Energy’s reputation

Global Stakeholder Partnerships

  • Drive thought leadership by aligning messaging with global trends and positioning Vena Energy as an industry innovator and committed to sustainable development.

PR and Campaign Management

  • Design high-impact campaigns tailored to audience insights, ensuring alignment with project development goals.

  • Oversee execution of PR events, managing vendors, logistics, and budget to deliver seamless experiences.

Content and Media Relations

  • Lead content strategy for PR materials, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across press releases, presentations, and digital platforms.

  • Support the spokesperson and act as spokesperson when necessary during critical moments, managing media inquiries and mitigating potential reputational risks.

Internal Communications and Employee Engagement

  • Foster a strong internal culture, engaging teams through effective messaging and collaborative initiatives such as annual Green Actions campaign.

  • Enhance employer branding, leveraging digital channels and corporate communications to attract and retain top talent.

Governance and Operational Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and act as the gatekeeper for external information flow.

  • Manage external agencies to deliver high-quality outputs aligned with strategic priorities.

Leadership and Influence

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and local/regional/global teams to align communications strategies with organizational goals.

Pre-requisites:

  • Over 10 years work experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, or media industry

  • Ability to craft and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with corporate goals, drive brand positioning, and influence stakeholder perceptions on a global scale.

  • Proficiency in navigating high-pressure situations, handling complex media inquiries, and mitigating reputational risks with diplomacy and clear messaging.

  • Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including media, industry associations, regulators, and internal teams, to foster collaboration and advocacy.

  • Excellent communication skill in English, written and spoken

  • Good MS Office skills

  • Excellent coordination and cooperation skills

  • Great team worker
