About this Opportunity:
The Jr. Staff Accountant supports daily accounting activities with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing. This role helps ensure accurate financial records and assists the accounting team with month-end close and audit preparation.
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Record customer payments and manage outstanding receivables.
- Prepare and send customer invoices.
- Assist with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Support month-end close tasks, including basic journal entries and reports.
- Help gather documents and schedules for audits.
- Maintain organized financial files and perform other general accounting duties as needed
Requirements
- AA degree or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years accounting experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with VISUAL ERP preferred.
