Job Description

As a Service Project Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing customer RMR (Retrofit, Modifications and Revisions) projects from order to completion according to Vanderlande process, and safety requirements. This role requires balancing technical delivery, financial performance, and stakeholder communication to ensure each project meets scope, schedule, and quality objectives.

You will work on several projects simultaneously and functionally report to the Team Leader Service Projects for EMEA-LATAM region. Due to the dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment, you will work and align with internal project-team members (Engineering, Sales, Technology, Service) and external parties (Customers and Subcontractors). You will be responsible to achieve the best overall project result for both Vanderlande and the customer, while considering planning, quality, and costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all phases of the assigned RMR service projects, from contract review through completion and handover.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Manage project scope, ensuring clear definition of deliverables and alignment with customer expectations.

  • Monitor progress against plan, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Responsible for health, safety and environment on site.

  • Escalation and single point of contact for internal as well as external stakeholders for operational and technical issues.

  • Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, invoicing, cost control, and identifying opportunities to sell additional services during the execution process. to meet profitability targets.

  • Facilitate coordination among engineering, procurement, and field service teams to ensure timely and quality execution.

  • Preparing the STO by facilitating transfer of information from the project team to Services.

  • Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and contributing to process standardization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management (or equivalent technical field).

  • Around 5 years of experience in project management and logistics

  • Excellent verbal and oral skills in English language

  • Working knowledge of project planning, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination.

  • Strong customer focus and service-oriented attitude

  • Good subcontractor management experience.

  • Experience in working in matrix organizations with combined hierarchical and functional reporting lines.

  • Flexibility in working with different cultures with regions with different maturity levels.

  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% (short visits).

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5.000 to € 6.700 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
