About the role

As Finance Business Partner Sweden, you will join a broad and visible role at the heart of our Swedish business, combining financial analysis with close collaboration across the organisation.

This is a great next step for someone with experience in Business Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Business Partnering or a similar finance role who wants to broaden their scope and continue developing.

You will work closely with site management, functional leaders and cost centre owners, turning financial information into clear insights and helping the business make well-informed decisions. You will also collaborate closely with Global Finance and colleagues across countries and functions.

You will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of local Finance Business Partnering activities while working closely with, and receiving support from, the Global Finance Business Partner.

The role offers broad exposure to our manufacturing operations, supply chain, commercial and management team, with the opportunity to build your business understanding, confidence and influence over time.

You will report to the Global Finance Business Partner Manufacturing.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with site management, functional managers and cost centre owners on financial performance, planning and business decisions.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual budget and regular forecasting processes for the Sweden site, with support from the Global Finance Business Partner Manufacturing.
  • Analyse financial performance, key performance indicators, costs, sales and deviations, translating these into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare management reporting, commentary and presentations and contribute to performance review meetings.
  • Work closely with the local Accounting team during period-end closing, including accruals, profit and loss analysis and review of actual results against budget and forecast.
  • Contribute to business cases, market opportunities and capital expenditure requests, including return-on-investment analysis and follow-up.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and work with relevant stakeholders on appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with Global Finance and colleagues across the organisation on planning, reporting and Finance initiatives.
  • Partner with HR to ensure workforce-related costs are accurately reflected in financial planning.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Finance processes, reporting and ways of working.
  • Perform assigned internal controls and contribute to relevant Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Requirement and Experience
  • An academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
  • Approximately 1 - 5 years of relevant experience within Business Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering or a similar finance role.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in understanding what sits behind the numbers.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large amounts of financial data.
  • Strong experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to different stakeholders.
  • An understanding of financial controls and accounting principles.
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience from manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
  • Experience working in an international organisation.
  • Exposure to IFRS or SOX controls.
  • Experience with SAP, Prevero or similar enterprise resource planning or financial planning systems.

Who we are looking for

You are curious, analytical and keen to understand how the business works.

You take ownership, ask questions and enjoy working with people across different functions. You are comfortable challenging when needed, but equally open to learning from others and developing your own expertise.

You do not need to have done everything already. What matters to us is that you have a solid finance foundation, strong analytical capability, the right mindset and the ambition to grow your responsibility over time.

You are looking for a role where you can continue developing your finance expertise, broaden your business understanding and build a long-term career within an international organisation.

Employment & Benefits

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Solna site, with a six-month probationary period.
