Key Responsibilites:
Receive and unload incoming seafood deliveries
Verify shipments against purchase orders and delivery paperwork
Inspect seafood for freshness, quality, species and lot information
Accurately record weights, quantities, species and lot information
Immediately report shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues
Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of food safety and temperature control not required but a plus
Ability to read and complete basic paperwork
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to work in refrigerates and freezer conditions
Comfortable handling raw seafood
