About this role
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a Systems Integration Engineer in Huntsville, AL.
- In this role you will support the MDA Chief Engineer in the effort of integrating, and coordinating, complex engineering efforts involving both internal and external systems.
- Assist to facilitate integration between internal and external systems.
- Contribute to an Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Coordinate with technical POCs to facilitate cross-team communication.
- Develop tools and processes to capture relevant metrics.
- Evaluate working group technical outputs to determine progress or status.
- Evaluate how decisions might impact schedule, dependencies, and integrated testing.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 7+ years of experience.
- Must have MDA or DoW experience.
- Must have experience supporting IPTs and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs).
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills.
- Must have experience with systems integration.
- Adept with some MBSE tools (Cameo, DOORs, etc.), preferred.
- Experience briefing and interacting with senior leaders, preferred.
- Experience developing digital tools or dashboards, preferred.
- Must have an Active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it.
- Minimal Travel; 10% or less
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. - Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
