Summary:

The VTC Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and operational support of enterprise Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. This role ensures reliable conferencing services through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, scheduling, and technical support of VTC infrastructure, conference room technologies, and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise VTC systems, endpoints, and associated infrastructure. 
  • Schedule, configure, and manage VTC conferences and meeting requests.
  • Monitor active VTC sessions to ensure service quality and resolve technical issues in real time.
  • Provide on-site and remote support for conference rooms, collaboration technologies, and end users.
  • Troubleshoot VTC, VoIP, connectivity, audio, video, and conferencing-related issues.
  • Support and maintain VTC hardware, software, codecs, cameras, displays, and peripheral devices.
  • Collaborate with network, systems, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable conferencing services.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure VTC systems remain secure, operational, and compliant with applicable policies and standards.
  • Support internal and external participants to ensure successful meeting connectivity and execution.
  • Perform all activities in accordance with applicable DoD, DoN, and organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting or administering VTC systems, including at least one (1) year of specialized VTC administration experience. 
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise VTC solutions.
  • Experience supporting end users and conference room technologies.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility. 
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience supporting VoIP and collaboration technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required baseline and technical certifications supporting Level 2 (L2) customer support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and other enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration and conferencing environments.
  • Knowledge of data center operations and virtualized infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting DoD, DoN, or Federal Government organizations.
  • Relevant industry certifications in collaboration, networking, or systems administration.

 

Salary Disclosure: 

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
