Overview

This position will be physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP

 

To monitor the overall maintenance and accountability of CBRNE equipment


Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

  • Ensures CBRNE equipment is operational and ready for issue through close supervision.
  • Issues to and receives equipment from supported units.
  • Engaged in issuing, receiving, storing and testing CBRNE equipment.
  • Inspects products or materials issued or received to authorized customers.
  • Maintains the records of all equipment that has been turned in for service. Receives and inspects equipment upon return.
  • Performs operator level maintenance on CBRNE and related equipment
  • Performs other related tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain secret clearance.
    • Ensures CBRNE equipment is operational and ready for issue through close supervision.
    • Issues to and receives equipment from supported units.
    • Engaged in issuing, receiving, storing and testing CBRNE equipment.
    • Inspects products or materials issued or received to authorized customers.
    • Maintains the records of all equipment that has been turned in for service. Receives and inspects equipment upon return.
    • Performs operator level maintenance on CBRNE and related equipment
    • Performs other related tasks as required.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills:
    • Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Knowledge of related Container handling procedure.
    • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
    • Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
    • Knowledge of MHE equipment operation.
    • Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, rain, humidity)
    • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
    • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
