Lead Maintenance/Construction Specialist

We’re looking for a skilled Lead Journey Maintenance/Construction Specialist who will assist in driving operational excellence across state facilities. As a Lead Maintenance/Construction Specialist, you’ll serve as a key technical resource and mentor—utilizing your comprehensive skills in building controls, maintenance and construction, and trade systems to keep our operations safe and seamless.

Key Responsibilities As a Lead Journey Maintenance/Construction Specialist you will: Under general supervision, serves as the lead worker for maintenance and construction activities within assigned state facilities. Performs advanced journey-level work in multiple building trades, coordinates maintenance and small construction projects, assigns and monitors daily work activities, mentor and train staff, and ensures facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position serves as a technical resource for facility managers, maintenance staff, contractors, and state agencies while promoting quality workmanship, safety, and excellent customer service.
