You will lead Treasury at Usercentrics, managing cash across all entities, banking relationships, FX, and payment operations globally. You will oversee a junior team member and own the function end-to-end — from daily cash management and FX execution to strategic bank consolidation projects — reporting directly to the Director of Accounting & Treasury.
YOUR TASKS- Manage daily treasury operations across multiple entities, including cash positioning, liquidity management, funding, cash concentration through cash pooling, and optimising balances across interest-bearing accounts, as well as intercompany settlements.
- Manage surplus cash through money market funds and other short-term investment solutions, continuously evaluating alternatives to optimise yield and liquidity.
- Own the company’s cash flow forecasting process, maintaining accurate short-term forecasts using the treasury forecasting tool to support liquidity planning and decision-making, aligned with FP&A’s long-term planning.
- Own FX exposure end-to-end: develop and implement an FX strategy, anticipate liquidity needs, execute FX transactions, and manage currency risk.
- Own the company’s banking and payment infrastructure, including banking portals, PSPs, payment execution platform, and corporate card program; oversee end-to-end payment operations including PSP payouts, direct debits, failed payments, and bank reporting issues.
- Lead banking and payment optimisation initiatives, including bank and PSP rationalisation, account consolidation, and implementation of improved payment methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage banking relationships end-to-end, including KYC, account openings and closures, banking services, user access, signatories, and ongoing relationship management.
- Manage lender compliance once credit facilities are in place including covenant tracking, reporting, investment of excess cash, and monitoring of banking fees.
- Maintain treasury governance, including treasury policies and procedures, treasury calendar (payroll dates, bank holidays), and bank and PSP relationship governance including escalations.
- Act as treasury owner for business initiatives impacting treasury operations, ensuring appropriate design and implementation of banking, payment, and treasury processes from a treasury perspective.
- Lead the treasury function end-to-end, and while supported by a junior team member, remain hands-on and able to independently execute operational treasury activities when required.
YOU BRING
- 5+ years of hands-on treasury experience in a multi-entity, international environment, with direct responsibility for cash management, liquidity, banking relationships, and cash flow forecasting.
- Strong FX knowledge, including execution of FX transactions, management of currency exposure, and the ability to independently design and own an FX risk management framework.
- Strong understanding of banking, PSPs, payment infrastructure, treasury systems, and ERP payment processes, with the ability to troubleshoot complex end-to-end payment flows.
- Proven experience leading treasury projects, such as bank consolidations, payment infrastructure improvements, treasury system implementations, or other transformation initiatives.
- Comfortable driving cross-functional initiatives from a treasury perspective, driving delivery of projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of accounting and cash reconciliation, with the ability to independently investigate and resolve treasury-related issues.
- Rigorous, organised, and calm under pressure, with the ability to balance strategic ownership and operational execution - keeping control of the treasury calendar, anticipating issues before they escalate, and ensuring follow-through without needing to be chased.
