- This reporter will closely monitor and build connections in the Spanish-speaking community of metro Phoenix to craft service journalism and answer reader questions.
- This reporter will produce a combination of breaking news, daily enterprise, feature and multi-sourced stories in Spanish and English in a fast-paced, competitive, 24/7 news cycle.

Spanish fluency required.

Strong command of AP grammar and style.

Experiment with new ways of informing and engaging audiences across platforms and alternate story forms.

Comfort and familiarity using social media such as X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other emerging platforms to enhance reporting and share journalism.

Established understanding of media ethics and sourcing.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven newsroom experience in Spanish media.

Must have required skills including social media, storytelling, analytical ability, interpersonal skills and time management.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and the minimum liability insurance required by state law.
