Summary:
The Scheduler position will coordinate and confirm producer nominations at our processing and treating facilities within the Eagleford, South Texas, and at Godley areas. The Scheduler will also be the customer service representative for the company and will monitor contractual commitments, gas flows, imbalances, and plant performance. The Scheduler will be responsible for utilizing available tools to help direct changes at our processing and treating facilities to bring about the highest return for the partnership. Finally, the Scheduler will update and provide guidance to settlement based on contractual commitments and elections.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Nominates schedules, confirms, and monitors flow and imbalances from receipt points to delivery points on ETGathering & Processing Systems ensuring receipt and delivery points are within contract requirements.
- Calculates shrink and fuel for shippers using settlement statements, gas quality statements, and contractual terms.
- Tracks volume requirements (contractual obligations) and flow versus nominations (e.g. Operating Balance Agreements – OBA’s) with pipelines and makes decisions relative to the OBA balances and producer imbalances.
- Makes decisions on various options for gas flow (e.g. to different plants), coordinating with affiliate pipelines and gas control.
- Verifies volumes directly with operations and/or through monitoring SCADA.
- Monitors system pressures via SCADA and communicates necessary changes to gas control.
- Communicates with operations to ensure flow rates are consistent with pipeline and plant capabilities.
- Confirms volume information to pipelines and works closely with accounting.
- Provides trading with available equity sales each day, taking into consideration maintenance and projected flow rates.
- Works closely with the Commercial Representatives communicating producer’s volumes, contractual obligations, and new business.
- Provides EOM settlement information to accounting via Excel spreadsheets.
- Extensive knowledge of system, pipeline grid and process of scheduling and nominating gas.

Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree.
- Good organizational and planning skills are required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
High skill set in Excel is required
Preferred Skills:
- Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidate preferably would have experience in SCADA, Tableau, and Quorum Products.
Candidate should have the ability to multitask.
Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:
- The Associate Gas Scheduler requires a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of directly related experience in either natural gas scheduling or other natural gas business activities.
- The Gas Scheduler level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of directly related experience in either natural gas scheduling or other natural gas business activities
- The Senior Gas Scheduler level requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of directly related experience in either natural gas scheduling or other natural gas business activities
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%25 of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
